FusionStorm has debuted its EMC Velocity² Solutions Center, which combines FusionStorm’s IT consulting and managed services, focusing on storage, business continuity and virtualization, with EMC’s industry-leading information infrastructure technology and solutions. Located in the firm’s San Diego office, the new lab enables FusionStorm to demonstrate backup, recovery, archive and virtualization solutions in real-world application environments.

The FusionStorm Velocity² Solutions Center is focused on demonstrating different use cases of EMC data protection technology in both physical and virtual environments.  As an EMC Velocity² Authorized Services Network (ASN) partner and a VMware Lighthouse partner, FusionStorm has invested in resources to be able to deliver unique services around powerful combinations of EMC data protection software and hardware with VMware technology.  This enables customers to take advantage of information infrastructure efficiencies.

“The Velocity² Solution Center provides FusionStorm with the necessary tools to deliver increased value to customers through their relationship with EMC,” said Gregg Ambulos, Vice President, EMC Americas Channel Sales.  “FusionStorm is combining its strong domain knowledge of EMC with its value-added services to demonstrate how it can enable customers to enjoy the critical IT efficiencies through their investments in EMC information infrastructure.”

John Varel, CEO of FusionStorm, said, “The new EMC Velocity² Solutions Center lab is just another example of how FusionStorm is working close with technology leaders EMC and VMware to meet the growing demand of demonstrating to companies the real-world benefits of virtualization and business continuity.”

Josh Krasnegor, FusionStorm’s VP of Marketing, said, “On top of providing real-world demos and discussing the benefits of utilizing EMC and VMware technologies at our seminars across the country, we have also added a special web site for those interested in signing up for a demo at the San Diego location.  Now, EMC and VMware sales and engineering teams also have the capacity to send interested IT professionals to the demo center, via our online registration tool. To kick things off, we will provide brunch or lunch to those who attend a demo.”
