FUSIONSTORM EMPLOYEES DONATE TO JAPAN RELIEF
FusionStorm Matches Employee Donations Through The FusionStorm Foundation
San Francisco, CA – April 26th, 2011 — FusionStorm — "IT Delivered" — a leading provider of IT consulting, technology solutions and cloud/managed services, announced today that the company has raised nearly $30,000.00 in response to the devastating events in Japan last month.
Employees were encouraged to donate to the charity of their choice. Those charities included: Shelter Box, Save the Children Federation, Salvation Army National Corp, Network for Good, American Foundations, Inc. and The American Red Cross. The FusionStorm Foundation matched those contributions made by FusionStorm employees.
John Varel, CEO of FusionStorm stated, “I am really proud of our team and their generosity. Helping others is part of the culture at FusionStorm. No matter if we are cleaning a beach and planting trees or supporting a cause to help cancer research, it’s important that we give back.”

In June of 2010, The FusionStorm foundation raised money and awareness for Project Kaisei with The My Ocean Planet event in Malibu and again in September with The Dream Sail Raffle. FusionStorm has raised over $125,000 over the past year and contributed over 5,000 volunteer hours.
